QR Code Generator

Encode a URL, text, Wi-Fi, vCard or email as a downloadable QR code.

Why generate QR codes locally?

QR codes often embed Wi-Fi passwords, private event links, or personal contact cards. Generator sites that render on a server see that payload and sometimes wrap links with trackers. Just Tool It draws the matrix client-side: type a URL or structured payload, tune colors and error correction, export PNG or SVG. No account wall, no upload, no “free tier” watermark.

How to create a QR code

  1. Enter a URL, plain text, or structured content (Wi-Fi / vCard / email if offered).
  2. Adjust size, foreground/background colors, and error-correction level.
  3. Preview the live QR in the page.
  4. Download PNG or SVG and test with your phone camera before printing.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make a Wi-Fi QR code?
Yes if the tool’s content type includes Wi-Fi — it embeds the standard WIFI: payload so guests can join without typing the password. Generate offline so the password never hits a cloud form.
Is the QR content uploaded?
No. Encoding runs in JavaScript in this browser. Ideal for internal URLs and credentials.
PNG or SVG — which should I print?
SVG scales cleanly for print and large signage. PNG is fine for web and slides. Always leave quiet-space margins around the code.
Why won’t my phone scan it?
Check contrast (dark modules on light background), increase size, raise error correction, and avoid busy backgrounds behind the code.
