Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Just Tool It is a pure client-side web app. Files are read with the browser File API and processed in memory (Canvas, WebAssembly, Web Crypto, etc.). There is no server-side file pipeline for tools.
Is Just Tool It free?
Yes. All tools are free to use without an account, trial, or watermark on downloads. Optional CDN libraries load only when a tool needs them.
What does “zero-server processing” mean?
It means your document, image, or text is never POSTed to Just Tool It for conversion. The page is static HTML/JS; the work happens on your device. That is the core of our on-device security model.
Can I use the tools offline?
After the first visit, the service worker can cache the app shell and many tools for offline use. Very large engines such as FFmpeg.wasm still need a one-time download before video jobs run offline.
